What to expect

Booking appointments

If you have any questions about our practice approach, booking process and requirements, please contact us. You can either book directly online or we are able to schedule an appointment based on your preferred contact method. You will be required to provide basic contact and demographic information, in addition to credit card/payment method details. Charges will only be applied at the time of your appointment.

See services page for more information about possible rebates available. To claim a medicare rebate you will need a GP mental health care plan referral ahead of you psychology appointment.

Initial sessions

After booking your initial appointment, you will be sent information ahead of the scheduled time. This will include additional personal details, initial screening tools and questionnaires. This will allow your psychologist to have some baseline information about your mental health and wellbeing.

The initial appointment is dedicated to an assessment, where you and the psychologist will establish a working relationship, explore relevant history, current circumstances and your goals.  A treatment plan will be established and subsequent session will focus on the psychological interventions and achieving your goals.
